Staged photography, in its various forms, from narrative tableaux and self-presentations to still lifes, has remained a sustained interest throughout my artistic practice. I have chosen to add to this exhibition an image created at the beginning of my career and shown before the fall of communism. Several works from that period are reproduced in the book featured in the “Books” section.
